Recess Size: Measurement type is recess; (window opening size) the product will be made to the sizes provided less a tolerance for the recess the blind must fit into. For Roman blinds, we deduct 1CM/10MM overall from the width and nothing from the drop. Exact Size : Measurement type is given as blind size, with no tolerance taken off. (finished size of blind)

Sidewinder: A 'cassette' headrail providing operation of the blind through a white bead chain at the side of the blind. (Often referred to as a 'sidewinder'). Please note that the SideWinder is supplied on all roman blinds.  A child safety tensioner is supplied with your blind.

All our Roman blinds are handmade with a fixed lining for a quality finish and greater functionality.

Blackout Thermal Lining – our recommended lining is the combined Blackout and Thermal premium lining. This option gives added body to the luxurious folds of your blind whilst improving thermal insulation and reducing light penetration.

Interlined Blackout Thermal Lining -  Interlining adds a further layer of ‘wadding’ to your blind, further improving the hang, insulation and blackout properties. This type of lining is particularly recommended for lightweight fabrics and for ill-fitting potentially draughty, windows. Extra cost option.

Standard Lining -  A lightweight semi translucent fabric. We would always recommend one of our Blackout/Thermal lining options.
